Yakovlev

The family of aircraft of the designer Alexander Yakovlev consist essentially of the types of the 1`er and 3`er. 7`, 9` and 11` series which were primarily designed as defense and fighter aircraft.

There is also the group of sport and universal aircraft in the family, consisting of the 18, 50, 52 and 54 series.

While the first group of the „uneven series“ are all tailwheel aircraft with two-part wings screwed under the fuselage and engines above 600 hp, there are more differences in the group of the „even series“ but always below approx. 400 hp.

We, at Gehling Flugtechnik, have meanwhile been able to build up a not inconsiderable wealth of experience on many of these series, regardless of whether they are equipped with the 720 HP 7-cylinder radial engine, the 1450 HP V12 engine or the 260 or 360 HP 9-cylinder. Due to various contacts to the east, there are also some options for spare parts supply for our support work.
